Truth At Work Conference

New Name — Same Great Conference

America’s Best Hope is now called the Truth At Work Conference. This is the same event as in years past, with the same great lineup of speakers, and will be held at the same location. The name change allows us to serve and impact the local community by aligning the mission of Truth At Work as a ministry and the purpose of the annual event. We also want to demonstrate how the conference matches the core values of Truth At Work, by emphasizing the need to equip people to live out their faith in the marketplace. This conference is an extension of the larger work we do at Truth At Work, providing many opportunities for a life and business changing experience.

We are very excited about this year’s Truth At Work Conference as we continue to spread the vital message of building godly leaders. This year’s theme is “For An Audience Of One.” We will be focusing on how to work for God and not man, while seeking to integrate faith with work. We hope to see you there.

Impact the Marketplace

You are a follower of Christ. You desire to serve the Lord in the marketplace, and for your work to have eternal significance. Sometimes though, you are discouraged and feel alone – like the tides are against you as a Christian in the marketplace.

Come, be encouraged and inspired, and network with hundreds of likeminded leaders. Learn from national experts how to live out your faith at work so you can impact the marketplace for Christ.

The Kingdom Business Tour at Nehemiah Week 2017

  • Rosen Shingle Creek, Florida USA (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Nehemiah Week 2017 is not just one event; it is actually 6 major events happening in a week’s time between October 16th and 22nd.

The first event on the schedule is the not-to-be-missed Kingdom Business Tour and International BBQ , Monday October 16th, beginning at 8:00am. Our day together starts with boarding a luxury coach as we prepare for our adventure in discovering how kingdom businesses and organizations around the greater Orlando area are putting BE principles into practice. We plan to visit:

First Presbyterian Church of Orlando -- Created a program called "The Collaborative". They train their people to understand how and why their work matters for cultural and economic renewal. FPCO is a strong supporter of the transformational work in Madagascar and extending BE there and in Orlando.

Charles Clayton Construction -- Responsible for new construction home projects ranging from $850,000 to $10+ million. Named "Builder of the Year" in 2012 by The Home Builders Association of Metro Orlando, CCC has received numerous awards and recognitions for their luxury homes. Charlie is also a BE alum and a strong NPIM supporter.

Hosanna Building Contractors -- Provides quality service to commercial and residential clients in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. The owners, Dean and Jane Blankenship, who are on the Nehemiah Project board, combine biblical values with present day technology to provide the excellence in service and quality that our customers have come to expect and appreciate.

LIFT Orlando -- Has a goal to transform their neighborhood by engaging in long-term relationships with existing residents, investigating catalytic projects, and is committed to learning about the social forces affecting low-income families in the community. Their purpose is to learn how they can help them and future generations escape poverty. LIFT Orlando and Patrice Tsague at Nehemiah are now looking at the opportunity for Nehemiah to be a part of this solution.

The International BBQ will be a great time to relax, dive deeper into relationships with others from around the world and enjoy some great food. It is included as part of this event. Our tour coach will deliver us to a private home in Winter Park for this part of the event.
